Ever since I was a young child, I’ve thought that periods were awesome. Growing up in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Canada, period positivity was just part of everyday life and everyone always respected the menstrual cycle. But then when I moved to the great industry capital of Cohoes, I learned that not all parts of the world treat people who have periods with the same respect that they do in Canada. I was at CVS on Columbia Street and I heard an old man tell his wife he didn’t love her period farts and that made me very upset. That’s why I teamed up with the merry Minstrel Menstrual Puppet Pals to make a video celebrating period positivity for all! Are you period-positive?
